30 minute Baked Halibut Dinner

This recipe for a baked halibut will provide you with a complete dinner in under 30 minutes. You can substitute the Halibut for another fish if you so choose but the principles are the same. It is quick and easy using fresh ingredients. I go thru all the steps in order so that everything will come out hot at the same time. The video that I have provided is for one but you can multiply everything for a group if you so wish.

Directions for 30 minute Halibut Dinner

Directions

  1. This recipe is all about the timing. It very easy to make for 1 or 6 people, the same principles apply.
  2. Set your oven for 350F. , convection if you have it.
  3. Get all your ingredients lined up ready and take your fish out 30 minutes prior to bring to room temp.
  4. Watch the video below for the timing instructions. If you don’t like your fish medium rare then add 3 minutes. But be careful, Halibut is easily over cooked and then it just tastes like cardboard.

If you can’t get Halibut you can sub in Cod, Salmon or any other fish filet of your choice. Hope you enjoy!
