If you are looking for a great alternative to a beef slider, here it is. Easy to make and oh so tasty! A Danish version of a pork slider but as usual the thing that makes this so yummy is the addition of typical Danish condiments. You will notice that some of these condiments are homemade and I have included the recipes via hyper link below.
Ingredients
- 24 Slider buns
- Frikadeller filling (1kg)
- Remoulade
- Mayonnaise
- Liquid smoke
- Caramelized onions
- Red Cabbage
- Agurke Salat (Cucumber salad)
- Mustard of your choice
- Butter and Avocado oil for frying.
Directions
- Make pork filling.
- Make patties for the sliders. 2.3 oz. (65 grams) Let stand in fridge for 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 180F.(43C)
- Heat frying pan to 75%
- Fry patties 2 minutes per side
- Place Emmental on top and place in oven for 5 minutes
- Place slider buns in pan soaking them in residual juices and fry until golden brown.
- Place bottoms on plate and start with a bit of remoulade.
- Then remove patties from oven and place on top of remoulade
- Then place a dollop of red cabbage on top of patties
- Next apply a little mustard.
- Second last apply the caramelized onions
- Finally, take the smoked mayo and apply on the inside top bun.
- Viola!
