Having access to the internet is both a gift and a curse. I love the fact that if I need to remember how a specific sauce or prep piece is done I can look it all up with a few keystrokes on my computer. What I don’t enjoy is having to sift through all the thousands of sites to find what I want!
Over the years in the kitchen I have come across many “kitchen hacks” to help me while cooking.
There are now instructional videos that relate to many of them – that said, many just aren’t worth the time or are Just Wrong.
This page is dedicated to weeding out the wheat from the chaff, so-to-speak. I am starting with some of the most basic or popular techniques. For example, if you are looking to learn how to chop an onion properly, I don’t feel that I need to reinvent the wheel to show you how. It is already out there, and, after many hours of screening, I have picked the instructional videos that I feel are the best ~ looking to save you the searching time, teach you efficiently, and, ultimately will make your life easier.
