Here is a variation on the old fashioned American Grilled Cheese. Don’t get me wrong, sometimes I just want a simple Grilled Cheese but sometimes I want to spoil myself. So that is when I bring out the big guns. To start I use Danish Havarti. Yum. Then when you add my Bacon Jam,( please see my recipe on my site) AND a parmesan crust? Amazing, even if I do say so myself. This is still an easy, quick and delicious alternative to the regular fare.
Ingredients
- Danish Havarti cheese.
- Fine grated Parmesan cheese .
- Jack Daniels Blueberry Bacon Jam.
- Butter and Avocado oil.
- Pepper.
- Bread. I prefer Old fashioned Sesame Seed White but Russian Rye is great too. And for the diehard Dane, a good Danish Rye is awesome.
